The rivalry of these 2 teams is legend. Both the Celtics and Lakers have had and continue to have the top players of the NBA roster. Past stars such as Larry Bird of the Celtics and Magic Johnson of the Lakers, two outstanding players whose achievements and awards on the court are a testament to the sport. Today's LA Laker Kobe Bryant and the Celtic's Paul Pierce carry on this tradition of excellence and sportsmanship on the court.

When these two teams first met in the NBA Finals in 1959 the then Minneapolis Lakers lost every game in the tournament against the Boston Celtics. This first encounter was the beginning of a long rivalry of two of the most revered teams in the sport. Basketball fans delight in the intense competitiveness between them when they meet on the court. When these two teams play each other on the court the excitement they generate is awesome.

Boston Bruins Logos

The history of the Boston Bruins can be traced to the begging of the NHL. The Bruins are home to Boston Massachusetts and are in the Northeast NHL division, witch is part of the Eastern Conference. In 1924 the bruins where introduced into the NHL and the Bruins where the first united stats hockey team. Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, New York Rangers, Montreal Canadians, and the Chicago Black Hawks, these teams will become known as the original six, because they where the first hockey teams of the NHL. The Boston Bruins have the second most Stanly cups victory wins at five, just second to the Detroit Red Wings witch have eleven. The Bruins Play at the TD Bank Garden witch is located in the heart of Boston.

The Bruins would end up in last place with a record of 6-24, despite winning there first ever hockey game in December 1, 1924. In 1929, the bruins had the best winning season, with an.875 winning percentage, and they have won 38 out of 44 games, witch still stands as the best winning hockey season of any NHL team. In 1929 the bruins would land in the Stanly cup finals, but they lost to the Montreal Canadians, witch would be the begging to a long time rivalry. The Boston Bruins would be the first NHL team to sing an African-American by the name of Willie O're who was the first every black man to play in the NHL.

Bosch Logos

Bosch makes some of the best power tools in the world and the Bosch Bulldog Rotary Hammer is a perfect example. Right out of the box, the first item we noticed was the case and the big Bosch logo. When opening the case, we noticed a lot of room, more than enough to carry bits, chisels and screws. This is a nice feature. We know it's only a case, but the extra room for peripheral tool parts saves trips back out to the truck.
After picking up the tool, the first feature we noticed was the weight. The Bosch Bulldog rotary hammer was very light and weighs in at 6.25 lbs. I was a little surprised, I thought it would weight more. The Bosch was very easy to handle as the balance between your front hand and rear hand is nice. On the front of the tool, you can change back and fourth to drill, hammer or rotary hammer with a well placed dial. The handle is a "D" handle, meaning it gives a user more control when using it over your head or on the ground. The "D: handle is a very nice feature because control is important when using this type of power tool. The only downside to a D handle is sometimes its harder to get into tight spots, but that's not a bad trade off! We really like the SDS system. The bit locks into place by pulling back the chuck and dropping it in. The SDS system is nice if you are using a variety of different bits or chisels. The down side to an SDS system is that the bits tend to be a little more expensive, but we think they are well worth the extra cost.

Boeing Logos

Wednesday, April 3, 2013 | comments

The other day, I was wearing a golf shirt which said "Boeing" and the company logo. Someone approached me and asked me if I worked for the company, I do not. But I can tell you that I will only fly on a Boeing airliner, and that my father was previously an airline pilot with Continental Airlines, and he also favors Boeing equipment. The lists of his reasons are vast, and far too great to cite in this small article. Suffice to say that building airliners in the jet age is a serious business.

Not everyone can do it right, and perhaps that's why China's fledgling airline manufacturing company has barely gotten off the ground, even after copying designs of older US aircraft and components. Of course, they aren't alone with their challenges, several other manufacturers have had a hell of a time as well such as Mitsubishi in Japan and Sukhoi of Russia.
